Saturday & Sunday, July 27 – 28: Antique Tractor and Arts Festival, 10 am – 4 pm.
Join us for a day or two of our annual Antique Tractor & Arts Festival held on the beautiful grounds of the Liberty Grove Historical Society. This is our main fundraiser for the Season.
This family-friendly event features vintage tractors, numerous art vendors, live music 11-3 pm, raffle prizes from local businesses, a chance to win a quilt, a baby animal petting area, a 1 pm tractor parade, hayrides, backhoe rides, plenty of good food, snacks, and beverages including Island Orchard Cider.
This year’s festival will feature the Door County Bookmobile on both days.
Saturday’s live music will feature Jerry Voelker and the Jolly Gents. Sunday’s live music will feature Lynn Gundmundsen and Tom Beckman.
A docent will be located in the Log Museum and all of our historic buildings will be open to view except for the barn. Plenty of parking and seating available.
Art Vendors are welcome. Please get in touch with Jan Newport at jannewport76@gmail.com for further information.
As always, we are looking for Volunteers for this event to help in various ways. If you can help, for even part of one of these days, it would be greatly appreciated. All LGHS Volunteers are invited to the Volunteer Picnic on Monday, August 5 at 6:00 pm in the barn for more good food and camaraderie. Please contact Dave Westen at dcwesten@gmail.com if you are available to offer your support.
This fundraiser helps to support the LGHS mission in 2024. We especially would like to thank the following generous local business sponsors: Piggly Wiggly, Main Street Market, Door County North, Dave’s Tree Service, Island Orchard Cider, Door County Ice Cream Factory & Sandwich Shoppe, The Vault, Later Gator and Wisconsin Public Radio.
All events are subject to change. For the most current event information find us on Facebook.com/libertygrovehistory.
