Ordering online is safe\, and easy and will greatly help LGHS plan for this onsite event in the barn. Each time slot is limited to 40 persons. \nThis all-inclusive Whitefish fish boil dinner is still priced at $25 per adult. Additional choices include a Broasted Chicken dinner\, junior dinner (fish and chicken) for $15 and a boxed ham sandwich (with banana\, chocolate chip cookie\, and juice box) for $10. All dinners include baby red potatoes\, onions\, coleslaw\, rye bread\, water\, lemonade\, coffee and cherry pie dessert. Active in Wisconsin fish politics\, Charlie’s story begins in the winter of 1974 fishing on the ice with Clayton Johnson and Craig Woerfel. After fishing part-time with Neil and Frank Teskie\, Charlie Voight\, Paul Goodman and Jack Schmirler and learning trap nets from Jeff and Mark Weborg and Dick Bergwin\, Charlie established Henriksen Fisheries in 1987. The next generation\, Will and Kristie Moss-Henriksen\, joined the team and celebrated the opening of their new store at Old Stage & Hwy 42 last year. \nAll LGHS programs follow a short membership meeting in the white barn. You have come to a small community of Ellison Bay to purchase some property from a man who is its first developer\, John Eliason. The steamship drops you off at the dock in front of his home. John welcomes you and invites you into his house to discuss the business of property opportunities in the area. \nYou too are invited to tour the historic Eliason home and grounds\, which have been lovingly preserved and restored by LGHS members Bert and Judy Scherb\, the current owners. Please join the Scherb’s during this rare opportunity to tour an iconic and historic Ellison Bay home. Picture the now Scherb home as it was in 1866 in order to appreciate the long history which led to the creation of this beautiful home it is today. \nPlease note: Parking is not allowed on Hwy 42. This is our main fundraiser for the 2023 Season. \nThis family friendly event features vintage tractors\, numerous arts vendors\, music\, plenty of good food\, snacks\, and non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Young and old are sure to enjoy the tractor parades and hay wagon rides. \nA docent will be located in the Log Museum and all of our historic buildings will be open to view except for the barn. Plenty of parking and seating available. \nArt Vendors are welcome. Docents available and Museum buildings open 1-4pm every Saturday through October 14th and Thursday\, 9-noon through October 12th. Museum grounds are open to the public dawn to dusk every day. \nAntique Tractor & Arts Festival is the weekend of July 22-23\, 10-4pm. \nVintage Market Days are Saturday\, August 12th and September 9th\, 10-3pm. \nJohn Eliason Historic Home Site Tour presented by Judy & Bert Scherb is Monday\, September 18th\, 4-6pm. \nFall Color “Photo Op” Day is Saturday\, October 14th\, 10-3pm and the last day the museum buildings will be open for the 2023 season. \nFall Potluck Meeting is Monday\, October 16th\, 6pm located at the Town of Liberty Grove Hall. \nAll events are subject to change. Plenty of parking and seating available. \nThe 2022 LGHS season’s programs celebrate Liberty Grove’s rich rural farm life\, harvesting of natural resources like trees\, rocks\, and fish in coastal villages and urban entrepreneurs. A unique program will be presented every 3rd Monday of the month in the white Museum Barn\, June – August\, at 7 pm and is open to the public. \nJoin Door County Coastal Byway Chairperson Ann Miller as she presents the story of the iconic Door County Coastal Byway blue kiosks which is part of the official Wisconsin Scenic Byway. This 12 kiosks 66 mile loop leads visitors through Liberty Grove and Northern Door County along Hwy 42 and 57. Each kiosk telling the story of area’s unique past concerning the early settlers\, rare plant species and how industries like agriculture\, fishing and logging  shaped Door County’s culture. \nFive kiosks are located throughout Liberty Grove and Sister Bay: Koepsel’s Farm Market\, downtown Sister Bay on the waterfront\, our own Liberty Grove \n\n	Welcome to Door County Coastal Byway Kiosk Map.
